Ex-cabbie escapes gallows, gets 10 years jail for possessing cannabis

PUTRAJAYA, Jan 3 — A former taxi driver escaped the gallows today after the charge against him for trafficking in 1029.2g of cannabis was reduced to possession of the drug.
